lulu had the courtesy of joining Elyse and the crew from Glamourcow and stylemom for their launch event at the Audrey Bar in the W hotel. The location was perfect since it was in midtown and the Audrey bar is sooo chic! We were greeted with delicious martinis that were continually flowing throughout the event and popping those addictive chips as the screens payed homage to Fashion Week! Lulu got a chance to catch up with Elyse during the event and she is one super lady! Nolcha Fashion Week presents…

Lulu got a chance to catch the Nolcha fashion show that took place at the Bohemian National Hall. The showcase was for 3 designers, Rock Atelier, Afanador and Quiet Riot. These designers sure have a very unique eye! Lulu loved the cut and streamlined designs of Rock Atelier and the easy breeziness of Afanador. Rock Atelier for a power meeting and Afanador for a drinks at the bar…as for Quiet Riot, lulu feels that donning one of their designs would make one feel like they can conquer the world – with turban, cape and sheen 😀 It was a great event and made even better by Fuze Infusions, that was deliciously mixed with Rum and Vodka, by 2 gorgeous Fuze-rs behind the bar. What do u think about the season premiere?? So far, lulu is loving the drama between Chuck and Blair….and Dan is keeping a few too many secrets from Vanessa… meanwhile I am loving Serena’s maxi dress …

Rest in Peace Patrick Swayze…

on the heels of del Potro winning the US Open (I was totally rooting for Federer) I heard the sad news that Patrick Swayze lost his battle with cancer and had passed away – I had always been a fan of Patrick Swayze, and was an avid watcher of his newest series, The Beast, I am so sad to say goodbye to this legend, and wish his family and friends my deepest condolences….you will always be loved!!!

Hitting up the stores on 5th Avenue on FNO!

So, fashion week began with a GLOBAL bang thanks to Anna Wintaur’s fabulous idea – Fashion’s Night Out! There were tremendous amount of invites and events happening uptown, downtown, on the East and West side, that the 4 hours allocated for the event (most ran from 6 to 10 pm) was barely enough!!
Lulu made her way to the most fashionable avenue in the world, 5th avenue in NYC and got to shop-hop from one store to the next. We made our way to Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, St. Johns, and Takashimaya to name a few – the shopping was complimented with drinks, and bites and even a chance to meet the designers or a celebrity! At Takashimaya, Lulu and her lovelies met up with Suzie (check out the picture below!), a talented jewelry designer that had on one of her scrumptious necklaces that were handmade and one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry lulu has seen!!All her designs, which were on display at Takashimaya 1st floor were dazzling !!

We had a great night out, as Anna would have wanted and can’t wait for another chance to do the economy some good!

The fashion on Gossip Girl is as unique to its characters as it is to our beloved city, New York! The latest addition to the Target designer line is none other than one of Time Magazine’s most influential designers of our time, Anna Sui. Her vintage styles are mixed with bold prints and modern cuts that make it a big winner with the young and old(er)! In time for the season premier of Gossip Girl and Fashion week in NYC, Target set up its second Pop Up store (the first being Alexander McQueen) and invited guests to shop the styles before it hit the stores and the web!
