and the SPANIARDS are VICTORIOUS!! I <3 Casillas !!!

WOW!!! What a game!! Lots of yellow cards (the most ever I think!) but the better team prevailed!! Captain Casillas and the amazing Spanish team deserved the cup and I was brought (ok, almost) to tears when he held up the cup and the golden confetti sprouted out into the stadium! Don’t we all wish we could have been there…. to witness the historical game and of course, gawk and cheer for the gorgeously fit men!

Let’s hear it for Soccer!!

Summer – hot guys running around sweaty and chasing a poor little ball could only mean one thing…. the WORLD CUP IS ON!!! Big name sports companies like Nike, Addidas and Puma, to name a few, have set up shop here in NYC to make sure everyone who can’t make it to South Africa for the games can have a 2nd HQ here in NYC – What better way to enjoy all the games and support your fav team than checking out Puma’s PUMACITY at South Street Seaport, as well as its PLAY BEAUTIFUL locations and events all over the city for the next few weeks. Addidas is hosting events at The Yard at the Soho Grand Hotel and Nike is also showing its support with games in the Meatpacking District. Find a place and show your FACE!!

GO TEAM USA!

To get you in the mood and pump up your spirit, sing along with Shakira and shake it shake it as she sings Waka Waka ( to me it sounds alot like World Cup World Cup!)  Take a listen and a watch here 😀
